For more than 100 years, the YMCA of the East Bay has been bringing families, neighbors and friends together in a safe and fun environment to learn, play and grow. Its mission is to Empower Youth, Advance Health, and Strengthen Communities. The organization partners with school districts across the East Bay to provide dynamic and engaging programming and partners with qualified contractors, vendors, and service providers to support its branches, early learning centers, and programs. Youth Development Programs include Early Learning Centers that serve eligible families with children from birth to 5 years old, and campership dollars provide financial assistance so more children can experience overnight summer camp. The YMCA of the East Bay has a supplier diversity focus that welcomes bids from local, small, minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, and LGBTQ+-owned businesses, and Michael Saenz is the contact for bid submissions.
