Dal Porto Show Horses offers horse training, lessons, show teams, and clinics for youth and adults. The program specializes in training quality Paint and Appaloosa horses to show on the breed circuit and in training for All Around events. Carol Dal Porto offers lessons on both her horses and client horses, with options that include haul-in lessons, overnight stays, and horses available for lease.

Dal Porto Show Horses has been serving riders since 1985. Owner and trainer Carol Dal Porto has offered lessons, horse training, and show teams for more than 40 years, including youth and adult lessons. The program’s stated goal is to prioritize the welfare, enjoyment, and safety of riders and horses, and to provide guidance at a level that fits each rider’s ability and desire.
Carol Dal Porto has over 40 years of experience in training and showing world-class western pleasure and All Around Performance horses in the APHC, APHA, and AQHA performance horse industry. She won her first world title at age 18 in the Open division of trail and has continued to win several world titles in western riding, western pleasure, hunter under saddle, and trail, including more than 30 futurity wins in western pleasure and hunter under saddle, as well as several NSBA wins. Her students have won several world titles in showmanship, horsemanship, western pleasure, hunter under saddle, hunt seat equitation, and trail, along with many Year End High Points and All Around Championships, and some have received full-ride scholarships to top universities and opportunities to represent their breeds at events such as the European championships and the all-breed challenge in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Carol has coached, trained, and mentored over 400 world champion horses, as well as many national and circuit champions.
Testimonials from riders and parents describe experiences with haul-in lessons, leasing a horse to show, showing their own horses, and full-time training, as well as long-term involvement starting in early childhood and continuing through preparation for college equestrian programs.
