After School Academy & ASA Summer Program

After School Academy & ASA Summer Program includes days at the park, discovering the library, mad scientist experiments, making homemade lava lamps, a free book fair, fun with orbeez, hands-on projects, and mindfulness activities. The program’s approach to the traditional summer camp is having fun while learning about science, mindfulness, and reading. The program is especially designed by instructors to ensure children have an amazing summer experience.

Village Community Resource Center was established in 1997. Local homeowners, in partnership with the City of Brentwood and the Brentwood Police Department, established Village Community Resource Center in 1997 as a community center. The mission of Village Community Resource Center is to serve and offer a variety of supportive services, and activities for children, youth and families. Village Community Resource Center is a community-based, family-focused 501(c)(3) with local support. Staff and volunteers include former Village Community Resource Center clients. Village Community Resource Center reports that its programs interrupt the cycle of despair, giving families health- and prosperity-building tools. The organization has a Charity Score of 96% with a 4 out of 4 star rating on Charity Navigator, and donations are tax deductible.
