The mission of the Santa Ynez Valley Botanic Garden Foundation is to provide a unique, accessible and interactive environment highlighting plants native to the Santa Ynez River watershed, encourage community collaboration, foster new approaches to environmental education, and cultivate an appreciation of the natural world. The programs also include virtual classes designed to connect nature enthusiasts of all ages with the beauty and wonder of the natural world. The garden serves as a venue for arts and crafts and a peaceful refuge for visitors of all ages, and dogs on leash are welcome. The community garden is powered by volunteers.
