American Flips Kids Gymnastics offers recreational gymnastics classes for girls and boys from beginner to advanced levels. Girls train on vault, floor, beam, bars, and trampoline, while boys train on floor exercise, pommel horse, still rings, vault, parallel bars, and horizontal bar. The program also includes tumbling classes for girls and boys that progress from cartwheels to back flips, back tucks, and twists, as well as one-on-one private lessons with a coach and a USAG competitive team for girls.

American Flips Kids Gymnastics is a family-owned gym built around Coach Eranda (Coach E)’s vision. The program is described as more than a gym and more like a family, with offerings that range from recreational classes to competitive teams and a focus on teamwork and self-confidence. Coach Eranda is the visionary behind American Flips Kids Gymnastics and is a former Junior Olympian, world-class gymnast, and National Team Captain of Sri Lanka, who was on the National Team from 1997 to 2007 and has over 20 years of elite-level coaching experience. His athletic career includes appearances at the Artistic Gymnastics World Championship in Ghent, Belgium (2001), the World Championship in Anaheim, USA (2003), the World Youth Olympics in Moscow, Russia (1998), and the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia (2006), where he was selected for the Individual All-Around Finals. His coaching philosophy blends Eastern European training, Asian fundamentals, and Western artistry, using hands-on, engaging, challenging, and deeply motivating coaching methods, with the stated goal to inspire every child to “Stretch Your Limits” and to create world-class athletes within a supportive community. The gym’s mission states that American Flips Kids Gymnastics is Coach E’s lifelong dream come true, built alongside his family, and that it reflects his belief that gymnastics is not just a sport but a foundation for life, where children learn focus, perseverance, respect, leadership, and pride.
