City of Burbank Day Camps includes activities such as theatre history lessons, mask making, scene work, musical theatre songs, and dancing. The program also includes youth sports camps, clinics, and other programs.
• Ages: 5–14 years old
• Schedule: Seasonal full-day programs offered during summer and other school breaks, including Winter and Spring Recess
The Parks and Recreation Department states that dedicated staff provide a safe and welcoming environment along with non-stop fun and unforgettable experiences, and that the program is committed to offering new experiences that encourage imagination, growth, and adventure. The Burbank Program, Activity, and Service Subsidy (PASS) Program provides Burbank residents in need of financial assistance the opportunity to participate in Citywide services, and City of Burbank Day Camps are eligible for this subsidy. A Recreation and Summer Camps Fair is held annually, and the schedule for 2026 includes Summer Daze, Spring Daze, Art Summer Daze, Nature Summer Daze, and a Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program. For all Winter Day Camps, refund request forms may be submitted by email or printed out and returned to the Mary Alvord Recreation Center.
