Red Chair Productions presents an energetic rendition of The Nutcracker that features Los Angeles's top youth dancers from more than 25 different dance studios across the greater Los Angeles area. The production includes Open Auditions (Ages 7+), Boys Open Auditions, and En Pointe Auditions (Ages 12+). The program also offers Girl Scouts Go to the Nutcracker and a School Field Trip connected to this 18th annual production of The Nutcracker, which is presented amidst lavish sets and glittering costumes and has had all performances sell out for the past three years.

The organization states that it served to inspire, motivate, mentor and share the physical arts with students of all ages through extraordinary dance and performing arts experiences.
