Unlimited Potential Basketball (UPBasketball) was founded in 2016 by Coach Packie and Bianca Turner. Coach Packie is the head trainer. Their stated mission is to help young athletes grow both on and off the court.

Coach Packie played varsity basketball at Fort Bragg High School and continued his career at Holy Names University in Oakland, where he earned a degree in Sport Management. Bianca is a graduate of Santa Clara University with a degree in Marketing.

The program notes that its approach is built around mastering the fundamentals and helping athletes understand the game, with a focus on quality training, game-like reps, and real skill development. It states that its development model is similar to those used in top European programs, prioritizing long-term growth over short-term results. The program description also highlights an environment where athletes feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, with an emphasis on discipline, confidence, resilience, and a strong work ethic, and a belief that there are three things athletes can always fully control: energy, effort, and focus.

Coach Packie and Bianca Turner share that they are raising their three daughters in Burlingame and are proud to be part of the local community.

Parent feedback includes comments such as a parent describing the workload in train & play, private training, and small group sessions as appropriate, challenging, and constructive for any aged hooper, and noting that the court is clean and has many hoops. Another parent reports bringing a 10-year-old child for about six months and states that the child loves coming, describing the coaches as excellent, very good with kids, and very passionate about teaching basketball, and noting that the staff are friendly, responsive, and professional and that the facility is maintained very well. A third parent describes the coaches and staff as professional, responsive, inspiring, and outstanding people, and describes the environment as welcoming and positive, stating that their three children have come out as happy and improved players and that they highly recommend the program.
