About
Peninsula Girls Chorus includes auditions, vocal training, musicianship instruction, and performances. Singers take part in concerts as well as local and global performances with the chorus.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
Founded in 1994, Peninsula Girls Chorus is an award-winning choral organization and a 501c(3) nonprofit organization. The chorus includes over 250 singers and draws participants from more than 90 schools and over 20 Bay Area cities. Its mission statement is, “We’re proud to be transforming the lives of young women through the power of choral music.” The leadership team includes Artistic Director Karyn M. Silva, Director of Educational Programs Kate Roseman, Chorus Manager Diana Walsh, Development Director Kelly Ground, and Accounting staff member Monica Sayat-Garcia. One alumna shared, “The vocal education I received with PGC is unparalleled.”
