Shipman Swim School offers one-on-one swim lessons, semi-private lessons, weekly recurring swim lessons, and private lessons. The program maintains a low teacher-to-student ratio ranging from 2:1 to 1:1 to support small-class learning.

Shipman Swim School has been providing quality swim lessons for more than 15 years and was founded in 2006. Stacy Shipman, who was a competitive swimmer in both high school and college, leads the program. Instructors are CPR and First Aid Certified and are chosen based on their love of children as well as their teaching credentials. The school’s stated goal is to provide high-quality, comprehensive instruction with a focus on safety, and it requires children ages 3 and younger to be in one-on-one private lessons, with semi-private lessons available for children ages 3 and up. The program offers weekly recurring lessons year round, keeps its pool heated to 86 degrees year round, and states that it takes each child’s health, welfare, and well-being very seriously.
