About

Limitless Karate offers karate classes for kids and adults, with training that includes participation in martial arts and fighting tournaments. The program takes place in a state-of-the-art karate studio that features three fighting rings, punching bags, and full floor to ceiling mirrors, and it includes spectator seating for family and friends in a fun, friendly, and family atmosphere. Families are able to try a free class.

Limitless Karate is led by Grand Master Phil Mc Grath, an 8th Degree Black Belt, and Master Frank Russo, a 7th Degree Black Belt. The studio’s mission is to help students of all ages learn self-defense skills in a safe, supportive environment while gaining confidence that carries over to other areas of their lives. Grand Master Mc Grath began martial arts at 14, earned his black belt by 20 and his 8th degree at 47, has 39 years of fighting tournaments, has been spotlighted in Black Belt magazine and Martial Arts Training magazine, was rated the #1 heavyweight by both NASKA and SCKL, has taught hundreds of students over 36 years, and has students who dominate the karate tournament circuit and are becoming fighting champions. Master Frank Russo started as a competitive wrestler from fifth grade through his senior year of high school, has competed in martial arts tournaments in California, Nevada, and Mexico, was rated the #1 fighter by NASKA and SCKL, is a two-time International Fighting Champion with first-place titles at the Ed Parker Long Beach Internationals and the Mexico Internationals in Tijuana, and has earned regional and local titles at both individual and team levels. He has dedicated over 15 years to coaching youth sports, including varsity wrestling at WHS and youth and high school softball in Westlake Agoura Girls Softball. Limitless Karate serves families from Calabasas, Malibu, Hidden Hills, West Hills, Agoura, Agoura Hills, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, Oak Park, Woodland Hills, and Reseda.
