The district’s mission states that it will be a model for innovative programs and instruction that engages, empowers, and inspires all children to feel safe and thrive, and that it educates individual students to their highest potential and ensures that they are prepared to succeed. Preschool and kindergarten teachers collaborate to create a program that gives young learners an educational advantage and a foundation for a lifetime of learning.
The leadership team for CUSD Preschools includes Heather Elston, Director of Early Learning; Tiffany Bui, Preschool Supervisor; Laura Eagar-chan, Child Development Specialist; Maryam Aznavian, Preschool Hourly/Substitute; Adriana Balderrama, Clerk; Margarita Contreras Guizar, School Administrative Assistant; and Vanessa Duran, Instructional Assistant – CDC.
