Opus11 School of Music

Opus11 School of Music offers private lessons, group classes, and WunderJam™ Adaptive Music Lessons. Its group classes include WunderMusic Preschool, Mini Musicians, Little Rockers, Rising Rockers, Headliners, Group Piano, and the Instrument Exploration Program, with activities such as singing, movement, early instrument exploration, rhythm, pitch, reading music, and hands-on work with piano, ukulele, drums, xylophone, percussion, and voice.

• Private Lessons — Ages 3 through adult · One-on-one music lessons for children, teens, and adults. Available for beginners through advanced students.
• Group Classes — Toddlers, preschoolers, and young musicians; specific classes by age include 15 months–6 years, 4–10+ years, 6–12 years, and 10+ years · Playful small-group music classes, including WunderMusic Preschool, Mini Musicians, Little Rockers, Rising Rockers, Headliners, Group Piano, and Instrument Exploration Program.
• WunderJam™ Adaptive Music Lessons — Students of all ages and abilities; designed for neurodivergent learners and students with diverse learning needs · Personalized music instruction with individualized pacing, communication, teaching strategies, sensory supports, and musical activities.
• Homeschoolers & Daytime Classes — Homeschool families and co-ops · Morning and early afternoon · Flexible private or small-group music education that fits homeschool schedules.
• WunderMusic Preschool — 15 months – 6 years · Saturdays, 11:30 AM · $135 per month · Independent music-making through singing, movement, and early instrument exploration.
• Mini Musicians — 4 – 7 years · Thursdays, 5:30 PM · $185 per month · A gentle bridge into rhythm, pitch, and reading music before beginning a private instrument.
• Little Rockers — 4 – 7 years · Fridays, 4:00 PM · $225 per month · A playful first taste of rock band instruments in a group setting.
• Rising Rockers — 8 – 10 years · Saturdays, 1:00 PM · $225 per month · For young players ready to hold their part in an ensemble and grow as performers.
• Headliners — 10+ years · Saturdays, 2:00 PM · $225 per month · For experienced young musicians ready for full-band repertoire and live shows.
• Mini Musicians Series — 4 – 7 years · October 7 - November 11 at 12 pm · $235 per month · A 6-week continuous program with drums, percussion, ukulele, keyboard, and voice. One-time registration fee: $75.
• Group Piano — 6 – 12 years · Thursdays, 12:00–12:45 PM; Fridays, 6:15–7:00 PM · $235 per session · A 6-week session for beginners. Tuition includes method book and class materials. One-time registration fee: $75.
• Instrument Exploration Program — 6 – 12 years · Fridays, 12 pm – 1 pm · $235 per session · A 6-week hands-on group class exploring piano, ukulele, drums, xylophone, percussion, and voice. One-time registration fee: $75.

About the provider

Opus11 School of Music was founded in 2020. Julie Poklewski is the founder and CEO, and she is a pianist and lifelong music educator. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from San José State University and a Master of Arts in Piano Pedagogy from Notre Dame de Namur University. The school says every Opus11 teacher is a graduate of a major conservatory and an active performing musician. It is an Ocean Grove vendor and a proud partner with local special education programs, and it offers recitals, community performances, and other musical experiences.

Recitals are encouraged but never mandatory. Families can switch teachers if the fit is not right. The school starts with a free Musical Matchmaking call and then a trial lesson. It supports neurodivergent learners and students with diverse learning needs.
