Bancroft Ranch Riding Lessons offers basic riding instruction and horsemanship skills through options such as youth beginner riding lessons, lead line lessons, pony rides, private and shared youth riding lessons, adult riding lessons, and trail rides. Instruction is tailored to each person’s experience, ability level, and confidence, with individual attention and an emphasis on safety, confidence, and fun. The program uses a variety of gentle and wise lesson horses and ponies.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Approximately one hour trail rides; other lesson lengths range from 30 minutes to one hour
• Price: $50 for a half-hour youth beginner riding lesson, lead line lesson, or pony ride; $75 for a private 45-minute youth lesson; $90 for a private one-hour youth lesson; $75 per youth for a shared one-hour lesson (current students only); $90 per person for a one-hour adult riding lesson (private or shared); $125 per person for an approximately one-hour trail ride; $650 for regular care boarding; $650 plus the cost of supplemental feeds for retirement or hard-keeper care; $35 per day for short-term boarding; seasonal blanketing for regular care at $2 per time; wet supplements add $30 per month

Bancroft Ranch Riding Lessons is part of a full-service boarding facility that offers safe and comfortable accommodations for horses, including paddocks that each have a 12×12 shelter and rubber floor, with sizes ranging from 40×50 to 60×135 and fenced with corral board covered with no-climb safety fence. Standard feeding includes high quality timothy, grass, or grass/alfalfa hay and feeding of any dry supplements provided by the client, with fresh water and trace mineral salt blocks always available. The program describes itself as a lesson program without the pressures of a competitive show barn and in a friendly, supportive environment, with access to private trails and no winter mud.
