Carmel Valley Community Youth Center Swim Lessons take place at a pool that also hosts private parties and has a café. The pool is part of a larger center that includes a community hall and Tatum's Treehouse Playground, which offers an inclusive play experience for people of all ages and abilities.

Carmel Valley Community Youth Center is a private, non-profit youth organization that operates the community pool and has been supporting community members in various ways since 1952. It is managed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and volunteers. The organization’s mission is based on support, empowerment, and progress in the community. Over the years it has added features such as an outdoor stage for free live entertainment, a reconstructed pool house with a restaurant facility, a built-in BBQ on the hall patio, and solar panels on the main hall. Tatum's Treehouse Playground is the second fully accessible playground in Monterey County and was built and fundraised entirely by the local community.
