Salim’s Taekwondo Center offers Taekwondo classes that include flexibility training, dynamic stretching, sparring classes, and a competition team. Classes are available at STC Carson and STC Redondo Beach on different days of the week for beginner, advanced, youth, teen, and adult students.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Class options Monday–Saturday in the late afternoon and evening, plus a kids/teens sparring class on Fridays and competition team training on multiple weekdays and Saturdays

Salim’s Taekwondo Center is the home of a 1991 World Champion and 1992 Olympic Champion, a 2018 Youth Olympian, a 2022 World Champion, and a 2020 and 2024 Olympian. Instructors draw on decades of competitive experience and continuous study, and the curriculum includes research breakdowns on flexibility training and dynamic stretching effects on striking speed and injury risk. The program uses the mission statement, “Champions are made when no one is looking.”
