Castro Valley School of Music offers individual lessons in guitar, voice, singing, piano, drums, bass, ukulele, violin, saxophone, trumpet, cello, guzheng, flute, and clarinet, as well as lessons in woodwinds and brass. The program also includes Open Mic Nights, Summer Camps, free theory classes, ear training, rhythmic studies, sight reading, student showcases, biannual recitals, picture day, and make up classes.

• Schedule: Lesson and office hours Monday–Friday 2pm–8pm and Saturdays 9am–4pm, with Open Mic Nights every 3rd Thursday of the month and Summer Camps offered June–July 2026

Castro Valley School of Music has three facilities and a community center where students and their families can gather, connect and create. Students can bring their instruments to the photo shoot on picture day and wear whatever they like.
