Chabot Swim Academy offers swimming lessons that teach all levels of swimming and techniques. The program also includes a Spring competitive swim clinic for swimmers who want to prep for a summer team or continue after the EBSL season. Classes are semi-private, with a maximum of 3 swimmers per instructor, and instructors are trained to use every minute of class time well.

The program’s goal is to provide an effective program that is reasonably priced where children can learn to become water safe and competent to swim in most settings confidently. The majority of the instructors come from competitive swimming backgrounds, and the Head Coach assists instructors and oversees the progression of swimmers. Chabot Swim Academy uses a flexible approach and is described as expert at placing swimmers in the best class to master techniques as quickly as possible, with a focus on a high quality of instruction with a smaller, select number of kids. The stated goal includes having swimmers become more safe in the water, improve their skills, and have a special experience learning. Leadership includes Bill Kriskovich, Head Coach of Chabot Swim Club in Castro Valley, and Andy Jerome, a swim instructor at Chabot Swim Academy.
