Chabot Swim Academy

Chabot Swim Academy offers swim lessons, summer swim lessons, summer swim sessions, and clinics. The program includes a swim clinic and other clinics that focus on specific skills. All skill levels are welcome, from beginners to competitive swimmers, in small class sizes and small groups with structured lessons focused on confidence and skill.

• Ages: 3–17 years old
• Schedule: Lessons run Monday through Thursday for two weeks, in two-week sessions.

Chabot Swim Academy is led by longtime coach and teacher Bill Kriskovich, who is Head Coach of the San Leandro Drowning Darryl’s. Bill Kriskovich earned a teaching credential in Physical Education and spent 25 years working with Fremont Unified School District, and he has over 35 years teaching swimmers of all levels. The program is designed to provide high-quality swim instruction in a smaller, more focused setting, with lessons focusing on water safety, skill development, and building confidence in the pool, and a program focused on safety, skill development, and confidence in the water. Chabot Swim Academy serves families in Castro Valley, San Leandro, and the surrounding communities and continues a long tradition of summer swim instruction for these families. Clinics are short-term training sessions that focus on specific skills and are usually offered in the spring and fall.
