Power of One Self Defense Institute offers Tiny & Mighty Tigers for ages 4-6, Junior Warriors for ages 7-12, Teen & Adult for ages 13+, Fitness Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Birthday Parties, and Camps. Junior Warriors includes self-defense drills and goal-setting. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu focuses on self-defense skills from the ground up.
Programs
- Tiny & Mighty Tigers — Ages 4-6
- Junior Warriors — Ages 7-12 · Builds confidence through self-defense and safety skills; includes self-defense drills and goal-setting.
- Teen & Adult — Ages 13+ · Martial arts instruction that encourages self-motivation and confidence; workouts are fun and challenging.
- Fitness Kickboxing — Group-oriented workouts focused on feeling empowered, losing weight, and improving health.
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — Self-defense skills from the ground up; students develop confidence, discipline, courage, responsibility and leadership.
- Birthday Parties — Party service for kids to explore their strength in a fun environment and be active.
- Camps — Safe, fun environment for children focused on positive attitudes, self-respect, self-discipline, socialization, leadership skills, goal setting and teamwork.

- General schedule: Age specific programs from beginner to advanced; classes are set but students can choose the days they wish to attend each week.
About the provider
For more than 30 years, Power of One Self-Defense Institute has empowered individuals and families through martial arts. Its mission is to empower individuals and families through martial arts and help students develop confidence, discipline, physical fitness, and valuable life skills. The Cerritos school is led by Mrs. Tami Bennett.
This Cerritos location is independently owned and operated as a licensed affiliate of Power of One Self Defense.
