California State Preschool Program (CSPP) includes activities in literacy, number skills, social development, and health and safety. The program is an age and developmentally appropriate program designed to facilitate the transition to kindergarten for three and four year old children in educational development, health services, social services, nutritional services, parent education and parent participation. The California State Preschool Program provides children with a daily snack.
• Ages: 3–4 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:30pm during the school year
The Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) states that its mission is to cultivate child, family and community well-being. The California State Preschool Program provides children with a daily snack and helps families access community resources. Parents are encouraged to participate in the classrooms as volunteers and are eligible to serve on the program-wide Parent Advisory Committee.
