America’s Best Martial Arts – Krav Maga Juniors introduces kids to Krav Maga along with related training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Karate, the Chuck Norris System, Jiu Jitsu, Tang Soo Do, Hapkido, Shotokan, BJJ, Kali, Silat, and Dog Brothers Martial Arts. The program follows a curriculum that focuses on practical and efficient self-defense techniques and situational awareness, with an emphasis on real self-defense with a competitive edge. It takes place in a family-oriented, judgment-free environment with a one-of-a-kind community of dedicated instructors and welcoming students, and includes life lessons such as hard work, goal setting, and growth from failure.

America’s Best Martial Arts was established by Mark Cox in October 1990, and over the past 25 years it has built a strong legacy, supported by Mark Cox’s 40-year journey in owning and operating martial arts schools. The leadership team for America’s Best Martial Arts – Krav Maga Juniors includes Mark Cox (instructor and founder/owner), Nathan Carlan (instructor and Board of Directors for the America Krav Maga Federation), Michael Cox (instructor), Ashley Sage (instructor), Anica Fountaine (instructor), and Dicky Billings (instructor). Mark Cox holds black belts in Tang Soo Do, Krav Maga, and Hapkido, and a brown belt under Sergio Machado (Team 3 Competition Team), and is also a best-selling author and motivational speaker. Nathan Carlan holds rank in American Tang Soo Do, Krav Maga, Shotokan, BJJ, Kali, and Silat, and has been a teacher and coach in the Los Angeles Community College District since 2004. Michael Cox is a 6th-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, a purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu, and a black belt in Krav Maga. Ashley Sage is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do working towards 5th Degree Black Belt under Mark Cox, a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Sergio Machado, holds a “Brown Tag” Instructor rank in Dog Brothers Martial Arts, a Level 4 Instructor Certified rank in the American Krav Maga Federation, and a 1st Degree Black Belt in Krav Maga. Anica Fontaine is a 4th Dan Black Belt under Grand Master Cox.
The program’s mission states that America’s Best Martial Arts treats people the way they want to be treated and raises students to do the same by instilling courtesy and integrity, with a curriculum that provides a real-life understanding of self-defense in an uplifting, family environment.
