Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley offers youth development programs that include activities in academics, health and wellness, and character and leadership. The program operates at multiple clubhouses, teen centers, school-based sites, and a juvenile hall site, and is staffed by trained youth development professionals who provide consistent guidance and support.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley is a private nonprofit founded in 1995 and serves over 1,600 youth at 11 sites in Butte and Glenn Counties. It is governed by a local volunteer board and benefits from the support of more than 500 community volunteers. The organization’s mission is to inspire and enable all young people to reach their full potential as responsible, productive and caring citizens. Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley employs over 100 youth development professionals, and its leadership team includes a Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operations Officer, directors for case management, development, finance, mission support, human resources, and special events, as well as area and site directors for elementary programs, teen centers, school-based sites, and juvenile hall. The program is audited and endorsed by the Grand Jury as a proven program, is a Platinum participant through GuideStar/Candid, is compliant with the Office of State Assembly, serves as a training site for Boys & Girls Clubs and other after school programs, and is recognized as a model program for youth development best practices.
