Hollywood Music offers a wide range of performing arts activities, including piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, drum, violin, saxophone, and rock band music lessons, as well as voice and singing lessons. The program also includes ballet, jazz, hip hop dance classes, junior dance for ages 6–10, a pre-teens and teens dance program, junior musical theater, acting classes, preschool music lessons, mini ballet for ages 3–6, songwriting lessons, and morning music classes. Husband and wife team Andy and Elsa Caberte founded Hollywood Music in 1994, and the program has been helping students for over 30 years. Hollywood only hires well qualified instructors, and the leadership team includes Hollywood Music National City Manager Helen Bongalos and Hollywood Music Eastlake Manager Rizza Vargas.
The program offers an immersive learning experience where theory and music foundation are creatively woven into fun music playing, and students leave each lesson room feeling confident, inspired, and empowered. Hollywood Music has been a trailblazer in the performing arts community, pioneering group music lessons long before they became a trend, and has three decades of experience and a proven track record of success with group lessons. Morning Music Classes are planned to come to Eastlake in September 2026, with specialized morning blocks to open based on community interest, and this expansion is in response to growing demand from homeschool families, charter school students, and early-bird musicians.
