Moore's Martial Arts of Citrus Heights offers kids' martial arts classes that include “Little Dragons,” Beginner Big Kids, Advanced/Intermediate Big Kids, and All Levels Big Kids classes, along with Shou Shu training. The program also offers group classes, self-defense classes, adult and teen classes, women’s self-defense classes, women’s kickboxing classes, private lessons, summer camps, and general martial arts training.

Moore's Martial Arts of Citrus Heights was established in 2013 as a locally and family-owned, family-oriented, and community-based studio. The owner is a 5th-degree instructor with over 23 years of experience. The studio specializes in Shou Shu, which is described as the ultimate form of martial arts involving unarmed combat and combines pressure points and joint locking techniques (Chin Na) with kicking, punching, throwing, falling (Shuai-Chiao), and many fighting techniques (San Sao's) into a soft-style emphasizing speed, fluidity, and power. Children as young as 4 years old can be taught the martial art of Shou Shu. Walk-ins are welcome, but classes must be booked and reserved ahead of time, and cancellations must be made 6 hours before the start of a class to not incur a fee. The studio states, “We care about your development and encourage positive manners along with increased mental and physical growth. We pledge to help you develop self-discipline and strive to be the best while we lead by example.” One parent shared, “Is excellent with the kiddos. They enjoy his teaching.”
