ILSCA Language Immersion Camps and Classes offers Spanish Immersion Summer Camp, a Spanish immersion Zumba Camp for Kids, Zumba dance, conversation-centered language classes, a Chinese program for kids aged 3–5, and an Italian Kids class. The Chinese program for kids aged 3–5 meets from 8:15 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturdays from June 17 to August 5, with no class on July 1. The Italian Kids class meets on Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. from September 16 through December 16, with no class on November 2. A Fall 2019 session runs for 14 weeks starting September 14, with sign-up day on September 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
International Language School for Children and Adults (ILSCA) began as a small German language program and has been serving families and the Claremont community since 1991. Its mission states that language learning at ILSCA is welcoming, supportive, and engaging, with conversation-centered language classes that help children, teens, and adults gradually become comfortable speaking and understanding a new language. ILSCA is an independent language institute and is not affiliated with Pitzer College or the Claremont Colleges.
