Cloverdale Youth Soccer League is a non-profit run by volunteer coaches and board members. Teams are divided into boys’ and girls’ teams in six age groups: Under 6 (U6), 6–7 (U8), 8–9 (U10), 10–11 (U12), 12–13 (U14), and 14–15 (U16), with each team having a roster of six to eighteen players. U6 and U8 teams play all of their games in Cloverdale, while older teams play games in Cloverdale, Healdsburg, and Windsor. Registration is limited, with a few spots available for players born in 2010 and 2011 at the time of the notice. In-person assistance is available at Swagecito Soccer at Furber Plaza after March 7th, and contact is available via chat, email, and in-person assistance.

The stated purpose of Cloverdale Youth Soccer League is to develop, promote, and administer the game of soccer for boys and girls under 19 years of age in the Cloverdale area. The league provides both competitive level and recreation level teams and states that it wants to ensure equal treatment for both. It encourages the development of the fundamental skills of soccer and the spirit of team play, and it encourages coaches to attend seminars and clinics to aid them in their instruction of the players. The league states that safety, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game should be stressed by coaches and representatives of the league.

Cloverdale Youth Soccer League thanks its 2024 sponsors, which include Ace Hardware, All Green Landscape, Animal Hospital of Cloverdale, Alchemy Collective, Berry Financial, Cloverdale Automotive, Clover Dog Pet Supply, Cloverdale Police Officers Assoc, Dahlia & Sage Community Market, El Milagro, Grug’s Thugs, Harrington Construction, Leo’s Roofing, Lopez Auto Glass, Papa’s Pizza Café, Pigoni Vineyards, Plank Coffee, and Swagecito.com, and notes that it hopes they will continue to support the kids of Cloverdale next year.
