About the provider

Fly Compton Foundation was founded in 2020. Its leadership team includes Christa June, Alex Barker, Carla Norman, Rosa George, Mayceo Flores, and Youssef Youssef. The mission is to provide opportunities for underprivileged youth in the Compton community to explore and pursue aviation through mentorship, educational programs, and access to resources, and to inspire, educate, and uplift the next generation of pilots and aviation professionals. The foundation says it gives back through outreach initiatives, provides scholarships, supports underserved communities, and partners with the Follow Through Golf Invitational to expand access to aviation education and career pathways for underserved youth.
