Diablo Athletic Club is an affiliated club of the Diablo Japanese American Club that focuses primarily on youth basketball. The program offers youth basketball for children and teens.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Price: $40 worth of raffle tickets must be sold by each family. A late fee of $25 will be charged if JA Club dues are not paid by October 31st.
The Diablo Japanese American Club is a community organization devoted to promoting Japanese and Japanese American culture to all who are interested. JA Club is an annual membership commitment that spans from October 1st through September 30th, and dues are typically collected upon registration online and are not refundable. Active JA Club members are free to join any or all affiliated clubs, and affiliated clubs may also require fees or dues separate from Diablo Athletic Club. Depending on the level of physical risk, certain clubs are required to have participants complete and submit Liability Waivers and Emergency Medical Information forms.
All families are required to save the last weekend of July for the Annual Summer Festival to support the facility. Each family is responsible for supporting this fundraiser by selling $40 worth of raffle tickets, contributing to the baked good booth, and working two shifts in one of the assigned booths at the summer festival. All “B” players are needed to help with construction before the festival and the rice booth during the festival, all “C” players are needed to help with dining tables, and all “D” and “E” players need to work at least two shifts in the back games. Registration for the 2025–2026 season is open, and registration will close on August 1, 2025.
