Aikido of Tamalpais

About the provider

Aikido of Tamalpais has been established since 1976 and was founded in 1976 by Wendy Palmer, George Leonard, and Richard Strozzi-Heckler. The dojo regularly has students from Mill Valley, Fairfax, San Rafael, Belvedere, Larkspur, and the nearby Marin area, and occasionally from SF.

The class covers LE exercises, the theme of 'Different Kinds of Power,' bokken cuts and 4 directions cuts with a verbal intention, and mindfulness meditation for 15 minutes. Dress in comfortable street clothes; no gi's necessary. No throwing or falling.
