Aikido Kids of Tamalpais

Aikido Kids of Tamalpais offers an after-school martial arts program with daily classes. It also offers Samurai summer camps, day camps, friendship seminars, community events, and teen aikido classes for youth ages 13 to 17. Teen leadership program activities include teaching days, outings, fundraisers, Teachers Aids trainings, and retreats.

At a glance

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• General schedule: Fall 2026 class registrations are open. Daily classes are offered. 30-minute class for 4-5 year olds. Saturday classes may only be taken in conjunction with one or more weekday martial arts classes or as a makeup class. Teens may join adult classes once they have taken their first test and have gotten Dolano Sensei's approval.

About the provider

Aikido Kids of Tamalpais was founded in 2017. Dolano Arthur Sensei is the Chief Instructor and founder of AKT. She has trained in Aikido for over 35 years and holds the rank of 4th degree black belt.
