About

Educare Children's Center is a Montessori-based, bilingual preschool where children take part in circle time, academic subjects, songs, calendars, grace and courtesy lessons, and hands-on art experiences. The program follows Montessori philosophy, including a prepared environment with practical life, sensorial, language, math, and cultural subjects, as well as mixed-age groups and specific ground rules such as using a soft speaking voice, walking in the classroom, caring for materials, returning materials to shelves, asking permission to join another child's activity, and not harming or hurting anything. Circle time is a teacher-directed activity at the beginning of the day.

• Ages: 2–5 years old
• Schedule: Year-round school operating Monday through Friday, generally between 7:30am and 5:00pm, with an academic curriculum from September through June and summer themes in July and August

Educare Children's Center is a privately owned, licensed, and independent school offering toddler and preschool/transitional kindergarten programs year-round and serving the Marin County community. The mission of Educare Children’s Center is: “Where curiosity grows, independence thrives, and every child discovers the joy of learning. At Educare, we create a safe, nurturing space where children can explore, play and learn at their own pace. Our classrooms are design to spark curiosity, encourage independence and support each child's growth-intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.” Educare was founded in 2009.

The leadership team includes Founder and Co-Director Rossana Broll, Co-Director Katia Escobar, and Teacher Coordinator Beatriz Gonzalez. Rossana Broll obtained her degree in Early Childhood Education in Guatemala and pursued her Montessori Teacher certification.
