About
Marin Water Student Programs include interactive in-class presentations, field trips that immerse students in the Mt. Tam Watershed, naturalist hikes, and library story time. Students can take part in advanced classroom presentations such as Water Supply & Climate Impacts and Watershed Ecology & Beneficial Fire, as well as a Water Treatment Plant Tour and a High School Video Contest with a rotating annual theme and cash prizes. The programs also offer habitat restoration and trail stewardship volunteer opportunities, assisting with native species counts and other wildlife observations, using the iNaturalist app, and participating in the Watershed Ambassadors program and hands-on activities through Project WET.
