The Teens Program at TJ's Gym includes strength and conditioning work that focuses on proper movement, speed, and injury prevention. Teens take part in workouts that are described as scientifically driven and focused on proper form and mechanics, with attention to sports performance and athletic confidence. Workouts are “universally scaled,” with a different version of each day’s workout designed for every level, and each class is 60 minutes and led by qualified coaches, including warm-up, workout briefing, guided instruction, and cool down.

The Teens Program at TJ's Gym is part of a gym that has a successful 12-year track record. The leadership and coaching team includes Founder/Owner TJ Belger; Head Coach and Programmer Nick LaPlant; and coaches Dana Schuman, Tatum Robach, Samantha Pinney, Bryce Monroe, John Main, Pedro “Hawk” Morales, and Zulma Terrones. Nick holds a Health Fitness Specialist Certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. Dana holds a CrossFit Level 2 certification, CrossFit Mobility certification, ACSM personal trainer certification, ACE group fitness instructor certification, and certifications in Kinesiology Taping and RockTape FMT1 (Fascial Movement Taping Level 1). Pedro “Hawk” Morales became certified as a personal trainer through the National Association of Sports Medicine. The gym’s stated goal is to help people get as fit as possible through a scientifically driven fitness program, attention to lifestyle and nutrition choices, and the camaraderie of a supportive and fun-loving community. The gym is locally owned and purpose built to make an impact on the health and happiness in Corte Madera and the surrounding area. Members describe TJ’s Gym as well run, with supportive and comprehensive coaching, and refer to it as the best gym in Corte Madera.
