About

The Cave Camps offer gymnastics camps, parkour camps, Pre Rec Gymnastics, Rec Gymnastics, Younger Parkour, and Older Parkour. All camps run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and campers are asked to bring a water bottle, snack, and lunch each day. The camps are part of The Cave’s broader programs in Gymnastics, Parkour, CrossFit, and Youth Strength & Conditioning.

• Ages: 3–12 years old
• Schedule: Camps run 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., with optional Morning Care 9:00–10:00 a.m. and Aftercare 2:00–4:00 p.m.; summer camp weeks are offered from June 16–20 through August 11–15 for both gymnastics and parkour.

The Cave states that it is dedicated to improving the health and fitness of its athletes and describes its Strength & Conditioning program as broad and inclusive, specializing in not specializing. The Youth Strength & Conditioning program introduces kids to a lifestyle of health and fitness in a fun and engaging way, focusing on safe technique and functional movement. The gymnastics program includes classes for all ages, including adult classes and a competitive gymnastics team that competes in local and out-of-state competitions, and offers classes for children as young as 18 months.

Gymnastics camps have highly experienced coaching staff who work with kids new to gymnastics and those trying to improve skills for competitive gymnastics, including coaches who have competed and instructed at high levels. The gymnastics program is run by a team of coaches with decades of teaching and competitive athletic experience, and the Strength & Conditioning coaches have knowledge in Olympic Lifting, Gymnastics, and Yoga. The parkour program is described as one of the largest in the country, developed before the sport became popular through competitions like American Ninja Warrior, and its coaches have competed in local and nationwide competitions.

The Cave notes that its gymnastics and parkour camps provide teaching for all levels, emphasize finding the fun in developmental progressions, and include games with a purpose. It also describes these camps as providing an environment of work and direct payoff and as yielding lifelong benefits. The Cave mentions overlapping class times for kids and adults, a morning Parent and Me gymnastics program, and a variety of summer camps and weekend events for kids, and states that it grew with the strength of its community and continues to thrive in that way.
