Ruby Karen Project / Orange County Aerial Arts offers Summer Circus Camp, Intensive Aerial Acrobatic Workshops, Teen/Adult Aerial Progressive Training, Intensive Aerial Camps for Kids, and recreational classes. The program also provides academic training up to professional levels.

In January 2009, the school started recreational classes as well as academic training up to professional levels. It is described as Southern California’s premier aerial arts school and the first aerial circus school in Orange County. It is an aerial circus performing arts school for kids, youth, adults, and seniors, and it offers yearly placement and hosts an Annual Spring Showcase. The program also offers certification courses through the International Aerial Teacher Certification Program, and it previously had a branch at Brockus Project Studios in Los Angeles that closed due to COVID-19.

The leadership team includes Ruby Karen as Artistic Director/Instructor and Luca Cecchini as Technical Director/Instructor. Ruby Karen has a career spanning five decades as an aerialist, dancer, choreographer and producer, and has mastered various fitness disciplines. Luca Cecchini had a long standing career of 25 years as a chef, restaurateur and event producer and started his training in aerial arts in 2007 with his wife, Ruby Karen, as his first instructor, alongside established instructors and institutions in Southern California and Europe.

Ruby Karen Project / Orange County Aerial Arts is involved in community events, including performances at the Orange County Fairground for OC Fair’s IMAGINOLOGY, the Festival of Children, and the PAGEANT OF THE MASTER’S FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS – Festival of the Arts in Laguna Beach, CA. The RKP/OCAA Team at the 13th West Coast Aerial Arts Festival (Nov. 8–11, 2025) procured eighteen award winnings, including 18 trophies and medals.
