First Baptist Preschool

First Baptist Preschool includes whole group activities and instruction, small group instruction, and independent hands-on learning through center-based activities. Children also take part in chapel, music, art, and physical movement through outside activities. The program serves children 2 years through Transitional Kindergarten (TK).

First Baptist Preschool has served the community for over 50 years and often welcomes generations of families back to the school. The stated mission is that First Baptist Preschool nurtures children in a loving, Christian environment while supporting their developmental growth. The program is a member of CRECEF (Church Related Early Childhood Education Fellowship), an organization that helps maintain the standards of quality Christian preschools. The program maintains smaller class sizes in order to give more individualized attention while also fostering independence and self-confidence. It offers children opportunities to grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically and spiritually to prepare them for the challenges of Kindergarten. Tuition is based on a yearly fee broken down into 10 equal installments from August through May, summer is optional, and schedules are available on a first come, first serve basis. The potty training fee is added to the monthly installment and is removed when a student wears underwear and is accident free for one month.
