Elemento Dance Academy offers Salsa and Bachata classes, group classes, dance teams, private lessons, dance conditioning, and movement education. The program also includes social events, dance nights, and performances, and makes its studio space available for event, rehearsal, or class rental.
Elemento Dance Academy is led by directors Kiki D Amanno and Javier Campines. Instructors at Elemento Dance Academy have over 20 years of experience and are described as passionate dancers with years of experience both on the dance floor and in guiding others. The academy is dedicated to spreading the joy of Salsa and Bachata and states that dance is for everyone, regardless of age or background, with doors open to all who wish to step into the world of Latin dance.
Kiki D Amanno is a multiple World Salsa and Bachata Champion, director and choreographer of 12-time World Champions B Queens Elite, and a certified Yoga, Pilates, and Gyrotonic instructor. Her certifications include PMA certified, Marie-Jose Blom Pilates Certification: Core Intelligence, Romana’s True Pilates, YogaWorks Teacher Training with Maty Ezraty and Lisa Walford, and GYROTONIC® certification-Gyrotonic Level 1 and 2, JSB, LEU, Archway, and Gyrotoner, along with Smart Core Teach and Treat Professional Course and Harkness Center for Dance Injuries- Dance Medicine. Javier Campines is a multiple World Champion in Salsa ON1, Salsa ON2, Bachata Classic, and Bachata Cabaret, with training in Jazz, Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Afro-Cuban, and Latin rhythms.
Elemento Dance Academy describes itself as Culver City’s premier Salsa and Bachata school and a vibrant community connecting people through rhythm and movement in a fun, welcoming environment. The academy is led by multiple world champions and offers structured Salsa and Bachata programs for absolute beginners to advanced dancers, social dancers, performers, and competitors. No partner is required for classes. The program focuses on sharpening technique, building musicality, and igniting passion for dance, with world-class instructors in a supportive environment where quality and integrity come first.
