Iverbe Day and Sports Camp opened its doors in 2004 as a summer camp. The mission of Iverbe is to create fun, positive, and meaningful experiences for children, using play and experiential learning to provide space for kids to be themselves. The program states a commitment to providing each child with a uniquely personal experience, with instructors who focus on developing relationships with children and helping them build relationships with each other, and a goal of offering a safe, supportive environment where children can explore their capabilities and focus on having fun.

The leadership team includes directors Paul Casillas, Madison Weiss, and Brevin Archer. Marc Weiss is the Director of Athletics and head of the Physical Education Department at The Willows Community School and has worked with kids in the westside sports scene for over 30 years, including work as a counselor and later Director of Youth Sports at Cheviot Hills Recreation Center and two years coaching basketball at St. Monica’s High School; he was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in 1994 while attending California Lutheran University and has worked at The Willows Community School for the past 27 years.
