About the provider

Ilka Sternberger created the immersion program in 2008. The program says it is open for bilingual families and supports German-speaking families in teaching the German language and culture in a playful environment.

The school says it is located in Culver City and on the Westside of Los Angeles, close to the ocean, away from traffic, surrounded by beautiful trees. One remaining spot for full-time enrollment was noted for the 2026/2027 school year. No class on 11/11 or 11/25 was noted for the Fall Session 2026.

What families say

“Tivoli is a great community of wonderfully engaged parents around a preschool with a concept focused on the children's connectedness to themselves, each other as well as nature and the turn of the seasons.” — Chris Wait, parent at Tivoli
