Village Tree Preschool offers a play-based learning program that includes music, art, science, math, emerging Spanish, Spanish, yoga, outdoor play, and free play. The program provides 2 to 3 healthy organic snacks daily, and children bring their own bag or thermos lunch. The program maintains a low student to teacher ratio.

Village Tree Preschool operates year-round with flexible hours of operation, and potty training is not required for enrollment. The Jr. Preschool program serves children 18 months to 3 years old who are not potty trained, where they are potty trained and socialized. Teachers are affectionately known as “Aunties and Uncles.”
The mission of Village Tree Preschool is to bring a sense of balance, community, and fun to everyday learning for children by offering nurturing care paired with a cutting-edge curriculum in an inclusive environment, while helping families build community networks that support all their needs. The program follows a holistic approach with diverse and enriching educational experiences.
Some staff have backgrounds in nursing, music, art, and yoga, and teachers’ educational backgrounds include master’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, and certifications in Early Childhood Development. All staff members have fulfilled the required CPR credentials and FBI screenings. Village Tree Preschool earned recognition from PBS, the California State Senate, and the United States Senate for its exemplary childcare practices.
Village Tree Preschool helps families build community networks that support their needs and has emerged as a steadfast pillar of support for families navigating chronic and terminal illnesses. Scholarships are offered to support children whose parents are facing chronic or terminal illness, and a community relations advocate is available to offer support.
