About
Children's Faith Formation (Pre-K to 6th Grade) includes guided reflections, prayers, crafts, art prints, music, and videos in its classes. The program is taught using the Word of Life Series by Augustine Institute, an Augustinian model centered in scripture. Each class includes activities where children encounter, talk about, and follow Jesus, using multi-sensory resources such as crafts, art prints, music, and videos.
• Ages: 4–11 years old
• Schedule: Classes meet on Sundays from 10:50 AM to 12:00 PM, October through May
• Price: Registration Fee: $125 for 1 child; $200 for 2 children; $250 for 3 or more children
Children's Faith Formation is led by volunteer adult catechists under the leadership of Primo Martinez, Director of Faith Formation. A two-year participation in this program fulfills the two-year formation requirement for Confirmation and First Communion. Online registration is open for the 2025–2026 year, and classes begin Sunday, October 5, 2025. The parish states that it is rooted in Christ and sent on mission as a Roman Catholic parish that welcomes every culture, affirms each person’s dignity, and forms disciples united in worship, prayer, and service. Through an agreement with the property owner, parishioners may use the Apple/Comerica parking lot for weekend masses and evening events.
