California School of Martial Arts (CALSMA Taekwondo & Boxing)

California School of Martial Arts (CALSMA Taekwondo) offers Taekwondo and Boxing. The Taekwondo program includes a Life Coaching Program in the curriculum, and students are taught respect, discipline, self-confidence, and service. Boxing is offered with USA Boxing Certified Coaches.

• Boxing — all ages and levels · Fridays 4:00-5:00 pm; Saturdays 8:00-9:00 am (adults), 9:00-10:00 am (kids), 10:00-11:00 am (youth) · Train with USA Boxing Certified Coaches.

About the provider

CALSMA was founded after More Than Medals Taekwondo (MTM) in Daly City temporarily suspended its Taekwondo program. Master Osmundo “Jun” Quitain and Charmaine Quitain lead the program. Master Jun has been a pivotal figure at MTM since 2005. The mission is to prioritize the holistic development of students physically and mentally, with character building in a safe and positive learning environment, and to support character development, sportsmanship, and leadership skills through life coaching, competitions, and mentorship. Master Jun is a 5th Dan Kukkiwon-certified Black Belt, a Gold Medalist at the 2024 USA Taekwondo National Championship in Sparring, a member of the 2024 USA Taekwondo National Team, and the 2023 California State Champion. CALSMA students won titles at the 2023, 2024, and 2025 California State Championships, medaled at the 2024 and 2025 USA Taekwondo National Championships, and earned several championship titles at the 2025 USA Season Finals. The Demonstration Team was crowned AAU State Champion and won the USA Dream Open Championship three times.

Life Coaching Program is included in every membership. Some schedules are subject to change. Students are encouraged to attend as many classes as they can. Email [email protected] if interested in current-student classes below.
