Manuia Polynesian Revue Dance Classes

Manuia Polynesian Revue Dance Classes offers dance classes that include traditional Tahitian ori, hulas, and dance routines from other Polynesian islands. The program also offers live Polynesian entertainment and may train students for group and solo competition.

Manuia Polynesian Revue is a Bay Area dance company that has been performing music and dances from Hawaii, Tahiti, Tonga, New Zealand, Samoa and other South Pacific Islands for over 20 years. The company describes itself as “The Bay Area’s finest Polynesian Dance Company featuring award-winning professional dancers and musicians.” Classes are taught by their most experienced professional dancers and are open to all ages 4 and up, all dance levels, and all genders. The group is a Daly City based performance and competitive dance company dedicated to preserving the music and dances of the Polynesian islands, and its repertoire primarily includes music and dances from Samoa, Hawaii, Tahiti, Tonga, New Zealand and other South Pacific Islands. They also offer live Polynesian entertainment for special events such as luau parties and half-time shows, and they offer performances for non-profit organizations, community events and cultural dance festivals in their spare time. The leadership team includes Director Tommy Tualaulelei, Entertainment/Competition Coordinator Camille, Tech Specialist Dave, Costume Consultant Jenny, Human Resources staff member Karen, and Fundraising Coordinator Helen.
