About
Davis AYSO Soccer Programs include skill building, goal scoring, and games. The program offers FC Davis camps and Transatlantic camps that include these soccer activities.
• Ages: 4–15 years old
• Schedule: One-week camps with morning sessions
Davis AYSO Soccer Programs offer an FC Davis camp from June 19–23, 9–11am, and Transatlantic camps Monday–Friday starting on either 6/12, 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, or 7/31 from 9–11am, with each camp running for one week. FC Davis is a local semi-pro soccer club that plays in the National Premier Soccer League, and FC Davis men's and women's players lead campers, with guest appearances and support from current high school aged AYSO players. Transatlantic Soccer partners with Davis AYSO for camps and brings European style soccer education, with coaches who are a mixture of Scottish and talented local coaches. Davis AYSO is a recreational league run by volunteers and supports over 2,000 players in the Fall Season and over 600 in the Spring Season, and it offers an EPIC (formerly VIP) program. Davis AYSO is a region of the American Youth Soccer Organization in Area 2/D, which consists of the Davis, Antelope, Winters, Esparto/Capay Valley, and Arbuckle regions, and is part of Section 2, which includes Areas in Northern California, most of Nevada, and the states of Oregon, Washington, and Alaska.
Davis AYSO was founded in 1979 and has been enriching children's lives in Davis through its soccer programs since 1979. In 2001/2002, Davis AYSO constructed a centralized facility in Community Park with a coach and referee training room, office, record keeping space, and equipment storage, and in 2010 the building was named in honor of Andy Alexander. The leadership team includes Regional Commissioner Julie Yamamoto, Child & Volunteer Protection Advocate Harmony Scopazzi, Registrar Samantha Conselman, Treasurer Eric May, Regional Coach Administrator Emily Kim, Regional Referee Administrators JP Stefani and Andrew Yao, Safety Director Daniel Shibru, Director of Referee Instruction Artem Lada, Regional Coach Trainer Eric Moody, Equipment Coordinator Eric Berland, Alliance (formerly Select) Coordinator Raj Amirtharajah, Uniform Coordinator Krista Hoffmann, and open roles for Spring Season Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator. The mission of Davis AYSO is providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives.
