Amna Dance offers classes for ages 3-5 that introduce creativity, movement, and music through dancing and imagination. These classes include Bollywood, HipHop, Jazz, and Latin technique and choreography for the annual spring recital. About the provider
Amna Dance was founded in 2012. The leadership team includes Amna Mazin, Founder of Amna Dance, and Pinky Vora, Owner of Amna Dance Los Angeles. The mission statement says the school focuses on dance instruction in a mindful, non-competitive, nonjudgmental, kind, loving, tolerant, forgiving, and empowering classroom. AAD-certified instructors are mentioned. The program also has a No Child Gets Turned Away policy, matches sponsorship contributions to help local kids attend classes regardless of ability to pay, and says every new student enrollment sponsors 1 orphaned child in Gaza.
Non-competitive environment; students are not involved in competitions with other groups or individuals; weekly class videos are posted; all students are advised to start with a Level One class; class advancement follows Level 1 → Level 2 → Level 3 → Inspire (IPC).
