Downey Dance Center

Downey Dance Center offers a variety of dance classes for all ages and levels. The program is based at a dedicated dance studio and is led by highly trained, passionate teachers who focus on producing dancers equipped to go out into the dance world with a sense of pride and respect for their art. Classes are available both for dancers who want a fun hobby and for those interested in training for a career in dance, with attention to character building in and out of the studio and an emphasis on arts education as part of a well-rounded child's life.

• Schedule: Class options Monday–Friday in the late afternoon and evening, and Saturday mornings

Downey Dance Center is owned by Belinda Lands, former owner of B’s Dance Place, along with co-owner Mindee Lands, and the program is directed by Juliane Westbrook. The mission of Downey Dance Center is to offer a variety of classes for all ages and levels with highly trained, passionate teachers ready to produce dancers that are well equipped to go out into the dance world with a sense of pride and respect for their art, whether the studio provides a place for a fun hobby or training for a career in dance, while teaching important skills for character building in and out of the dance studio and emphasizing arts education as an important component of a well-rounded child's life.
