About
Robolabs is a competitive robotics and innovation academy where students build, code, and compete using platforms such as VEX Robotics, VEX VRC, VEX IQ, and FTC programs. The program operates as a student-centered community with programs taught and facilitated by experts through the Robolabs Innovation Academy, with a focus on inclusive robotics, STEM, and innovation under the banner “ROBOTICS FOR ALL.”
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: 1.5-hour class blocks with weekly class options on weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends; grades 1–6 pick one weekly slot and attend the same class block each week, while grades 7–12 have a flexible schedule and can attend any time during operating hours.
Robolabs describes its mission as “To inspire, ignite and empower every young mind for a better future through robotics, STEM, and innovation” and “To be a positive driving force in the journey of a whole new generation of roboticists, STEM enthusiasts, and innovators.” The academy highlights a well-equipped lab and excellent infrastructure as part of its student-centered community.
The leadership team includes Sasi as CEO and Founder, Arya as CTO and Co-Founder, Iniyan as COO, and Alex as CMO and Fremont Director. CEO and Founder Sasikumar Allidurai has over 25 years of industrial experience in automation, robotics, and competition, has been teaching, coaching, and mentoring VEX Robotics for close to a decade, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering, a Master of Engineering, and an MBA. CTO and Co-Founder Arya Sasikumar has been involved in robotics since 3rd grade, was ranked 2nd in the world for Robot Skills in 2015, won the 2016 Vex IQ California State Championship, was ranked in the top 4% at Vex IQ Worlds, and is a student in UC Berkeley’s Management, Entrepreneurship, and Technology (M.E.T.) Program. Mentor Rodrigo Alexander Colin has been mentoring students in robotics for 6 years and holds a Bachelor of Science and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Technology from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
Parent testimonials describe long-term participation at Robolabs and the Dublin Robotics Club, including students progressing from team members to team captains and participating in multiple VEX awards and tournaments. One family reports that their elder child’s team won the VEX VRC State Championship and their younger child’s team won multiple VEX awards and tournaments. Another parent notes that their child’s team has stood out in championships and qualified further, and several parents mention a well-equipped lab, knowledgeable and enthusiastic coaches, and facilities that support hands-on experience in designing and building competitive robots.
