Sky Martial Arts Taekwondo Programs offers training in Taekwondo, Sport Poomse, and Olympic Sparring. Under the leadership team of Grand Master Jun Yoon, Master Andrew Yoon, Master Joseph Yoon, and Instructor Julian Alvarado, the program includes both traditional martial arts practice and competition-focused training. The program operates under the special tutelage of World Champion and 9th Dan Black Belt Dr. Jun Yoon, along with internationally certified and experienced instructors.

Sky Martial Arts has been teaching Taekwondo in the Bay Area since 1992 and describes its approach as building a strong body, mind, and spirit. The school’s philosophy states that Tae Kwon Do is not only a sport but a way of life, using Tae Kwon Do as a tool for teaching character development and life skills. Master Andrew Yoon is a Kukkiwon-certified 6th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo and a Black Belt in Ohun Gumdo, with over 25 years of competitive experience, over 20 years of teaching experience, and over 15 years of coaching experience. His credentials include US National Champion, US Collegiate Champion, California State Champion, Kukkiwon-Certified International Taekwondo Master, Kukkiwon-Certified International Instructor, Kukkiwon-Certified Poom/Dan Promotion Examiner, USATKD Level 1 Coach, USATKD Level 1 Referee, and Yoga Alliance-certified Yoga Instructor. He is a UC Berkeley graduate in Architecture, a former UC Berkeley Taekwondo Team member, and teaches high-level training techniques in both Sport Poomse and Olympic Sparring while emphasizing traditional martial arts manners and Korean culture.
The program notes that families can book a free introductory lesson or a free lesson. Sky Martial Arts operates across five locations: Dublin, California; Livermore/Pleasanton; Los Altos, California; Mumbai, India; and Chuncheon, South Korea.
