EPACENTER Programs offers activities in AI, robotics, architecture, percussion, piano, visual arts, content creation, music, environmental art, fashion design, animation, and digital painting. The program also includes culinary arts and internships and training in social media, filmmaking, and audio engineering. EPACENTER provides a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone to learn, create, and grow.

For more than a decade, EPACENTER has empowered the youth of East Palo Alto. Programs are led by teachers, practicing artists, designers, and health and wellness professionals. EPACENTER is an all-ages creative development organization with programs along three developmental pathways: educational classes, job training programs, and ongoing creative and personal development support. EPACENTER is a creative development hub serving the entire East Palo Alto community and was originally conceived by the youth of East Palo Alto. The facility was designed by world-renowned architect Kulapat Yantrasast.
EPACENTER’s mission is to increase opportunities for people of all ages to discover and amplify their talents, realize their potential, and impact the world through art, design, and technology. EPACENTER provides tuition-free programming for the East Palo Alto community and engages community members of all ages in organizational decision-making, leadership roles, and opportunities to drive cultural change. Other nonprofits, municipal agencies, and community organizations are utilizing EPACENTER's space in support of the people of East Palo Alto. EPACENTER celebrates the East Palo Alto community and its diverse cultures, including the Ohlone people, Japanese American flower growers, African–American leaders who incorporated the City, and the more recent and growing Latino and Polynesian cultures.
staci edwards, an EPACENTER founding youth member and current board member, is part of the leadership team. One testimonial from staci edwards states, “I’ve developed so many different skills socially and emotionally alongside my community. I feel a sense of purpose at EPACENTER.”
