First Congo Nursery School

First Congo Nursery School offers a play-based parent participation program with indoor and outdoor free play, art room, dramatic play area, manipulatives, sandbox, stories, and music. The school also offers pre-academic readiness activities in its Olders Program, and the extended day option is offered in partnership with the Palo Alto Art Center and the Palo Alto Jr. Museum and Zoo.

• Olders Program — 4-5 · 4 days per week · $11,124 · Pre-academic readiness activities; parent participation required 7 school mornings; up to 20 children per class.

About the provider

First Congo Nursery School was established in 1963 and is led by Marisa Cajbon, Executive Director, and Katherine Cherry, Director of Operations. It was established to serve the families of the church and to fulfill the mission of reaching out to the broader community. The school operates independently from the church where the facility is located, and it is open to all children regardless of race, gender, ability, nationality, or creed.
